Guys,
I never beleive in polls. The questions are always framed in such a way so that max people go and answer the way the poll wants....example below
Q1 ... Do you as an American support CIR for resolving immigration issues this country faces ?
Q2 ... Do you as an American support CIR so that illegal immigrants be a Citizen of this country ?
Looks at the above two questions, I think for Q1 lot of people would say "Yes" and "No" for the Q2, so I never beleive on the polls , the questions are always framed to get the answer the poll wants.

My attorney received all six receipts and sent it to my home address by UPS.
Here are the details:
Priority Date: Jan 2002
Mailed to NSC on May 31st.
Received at NSC on June 1st.
Transferred to TSC (I-140 was Approved from TSC)
Receipt Date - June 01
Notice date - June 08
All receipt numbers (me and my wife) start with SRC-07-XXX-XXXXX
Also, received Finger Printing (Biometrics) Notice today in the mail. Appointment is in three weeks.
Here are the details:

Whoever the lawmaker was who came up with the idea of allocating leftover EB4, EB-5 to EB-1 ! What? the least wanted category giving away its quota to highly deserving EB-1 ? How low can their thinking go ?
What ? the leftover EB-1 highly deserving visas given to slightly less deserving EB2 ? :)
Is there a proposal with IV to seek rethinking abt this spillover process ?

I think EB3 India will move to Dec 2004 by end of this year. (crossing my finger and praying hope this will come true)
By the end of this year If they haven't made any significant movement in EB3 India We should seriously look into filling a lawsuit for country discrimination. Seriously I'm surprised no one is looking into filling a lawsuit for this endless country based discrimination.
I can't think of any other solution for this mess. Watching the house hearing made me sick they can't even differentiate GC visa and H1B visa.

Ditto - been here since 1998... Finally when one does get a GC, it's not really a high point of life - just another pending task accomplished so one can move on.
One of those things - having it will not make a HUGE difference to life, but not having it does have its consequences. Funny how this works... :)

I have been in US since 1998 as well and I have a EB2 PD of Nov 2006. I keep myself healthy and happy. To me if there is no work here there will be work somewhere else and if there is no growth this country there will be growth somewhere else. Cheer up buddy :-)

I am seeing that reedandbamboo is considering for EB2 only. We have to include EB3 too for law-suit. I beleive that we will have more than 1000 people if we inlcude all categories.
I will give 200$( 100$ for me and 100 $ for my wife)
Ofcourse all categories are included...EB2/EB3, I/C/ROW...anyone who is unhappy with USCIS random processing and retrogression of the dates is welcome to join the fight.
Whoever thinks they are in: please send ur Name, Ph# and email ID to GCSTATUS or me.
We are not collectiong money yet..just a pledge. As soon as we hit the required # of pledges, then we start the money collection. This will ensure that it is not one those efforts that starts, but gets buried due to people not participating. If we do not have enough people interested to fund a lawsuit...we don't move forward....simple !!! The helpless situation we have been put into...has to be backed by numbers.

Mine is Eb 3..was sent to Nebraska, got there July 2, signed by R. Michaels at 9 am...Transfered to Texas,Received July 6...They sent me the Notice of Action for my 140 but I don't know anything else and I also sent at the same time 485-765 for my whole family...

Good point, has anybody asked this to any lawyer ? Can we challenge this in court ? This is the definition of judiciary review...If we can proove the country cap to be unconstitutional..
Judicial Review is when the Supreme Court reviews an act of Congress to see if it is Constitutional.
Judicial Review is the power of the Supreme Court to declare a law unconstitutuion (violation against the laws of the Constitutuion).
Anything that has language to exempt from quota is bound to run into severe resistance. However one thing here in US is to challenge any ambiguous negativity in courts. Has there been any instance of challenging country quota in the court as discrimination as some people brought it up earlier. Remember laws can also be changed through courts also, not just legislation.
Even though we are far from Citizenship test, I know there are 3 branches of government,
Judicial, Legislative and Executive.
We do not seem to have much hope in the Legislative(Senate/House) and Executive(president) what are the chances of using that approach.

Finally I got the receipt notice for I485, AP, EAD. When I checked online, it seems they already ordered the EAD card.
My app received NSC on July 2nd 9:01 AM, got transfered to TSC.

I expect the other set to be cleared some time Mon-Tues

I applied on May 18th 140/485 Nebraska, Got receipt on May 28 from TSC with finger printing schedule after 2 weeks. 140 got approved on 23rd May.
Friends, My friends is saying if the New bill approves then we might have to re-apply again, even wealready have applied 485, is this True? I am bit confuse, I aksed to my Lawyer he said your Labor and 140 is New , he cannot tell anything at this point. If the person is already applied and waiting for Card should be effected, any opinion?

I called up USCIS and got a response from Nebraska Service center, where my application is currently pending, that my case is waiting for an opening at local ASC.
We, residents of Bay Area, are suffering a lot from fingerprinting backlog, due to presence of few ASCs.
Also, my case was receipted at CSC and transferred back to NSC. Such cases are taking unusually longer for FP appointments. This is quite frustrating as there are other people directly receipted at NSC in August who have got fingerpinting.
I would greatly appreciate if you could take steps to speed up the process of fingerpinting appointments.
