No idea what to say, yes they have all rights but doesn't this never ends?

Some one entered into US legally in 2001, slogged(ing) 8 or more years for GC...so 2009..then 5 more years for citizen ship so 2014....with this news it looks like they need to keep up the paper work and employer contacts for 12 years, as well the family need to realize that their stay in US is temporary ???

This the very reason why one should file for citizenship after 5 years of GC. GC is yet another type of visa which one can lose. De-naturalization process is harder and more cumbersome.

I-140 was from TSC; I filed on July 2..but the employment letter was addressed to NSC. Will that be a problem?

This includes an employment-based Form I-485 filed concurrently with a Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, and an employment-based Form I-485 filed based on a pending or an approved Form I-140. To facilitate acceptance and processing of Form I-485 when Form I-140 has already been approved, submit a copy of the I-140 approval notice.

Don't worry, his viewership is something like 200k. considering 300 million population of the US, just think what %age of people watch him? i don't think his constant whining makes a diff. Americans are smart enough that these so called news anchors are nothing more than sales/marketing guys employed indrectly by the political parties.
People like Sean Hannity, rush linbaugh constantly bashed Obama (they still do), but how much diff does it make to the american people?

For someone who is an MBA (Finance) with 7-8 yrs of Financial and HR benefits experience who wants to move to IT or IT related field what would you advice would be the best field to move to or best certification to take ?

Can anyone help with advice? Talk about frustration! I qualify for EB2 since I have a masters degree (and also more than 5 years of experience in my field). I could qualify for EB2 except that my job description "prefers" (rather than "requires") a masters degree. The language prevents my compay from filing EB2, yet my job responsibilities are such that they certaily warrant a masters degree. My compay doesn't want to change my position or wording even though they clearly know (through my explanations) that that means adding close to 5-6 years to the wait! They also fail to see that making me wait so long also affects them because the company cannot promote me or chage my responsibilities for the duration of the wait! Has anyone been through the same situation?
They get a well qualified employee at a lower salary for a longer period of time. If they don't listen try to find an employer that could file u at EB-2.

Substitute labors for EB2 should not IMPACT the delay more than 3 to 6 months. The reason is total EB2 labor india cases approved with PD in 2004 itself is 3500(Straight out of DOL database, published on this forum last year). Some of these cases may have been substituted, worst case, lets say 100% of them applied to I-485. Now the number is 3 times that of 3500. that is 10500(including spouse and 1 child on average).
Another thing you need to consider is If anycase had a PD before sept 2004 and was filed for I-485 before July 2007. That must have got the approval unless there was a namecheck delay.
That should reduce the number to half., 5500(including dependent cases). This is my educated guess, Please dont pick on me. It wont help anybody.
Below are 3 categories left in 2004 as per my analysis....
1) the applications filed in or after july 2007 OR
2) applications had a PD after sept 2004
3) Namecheck delayed cases.

Is our fax campaign continuing or on hold for the time being?
We have learnt some lessons at the time of S1932. Our campaign was dead after HR4241 was passed and we were waiting for conference committe to be announced. This was the period when the campaign of NumbersUSA and FAIR actually peaked. They in fact advised members to stop faxes two days before the conference committee was announced. Their organizers knew how the conferences work and they finished work before the committee was formally announced.
Of course with QGA guiding us this time we are not going to repeat that mistake. Our campaigns should focus on senate and house separately & exactly when it is needed and must reach peak just at right time. With limited options available to us as 'aliens', actually meeting representitives or their staff should be the approach. One meeting is equal to ten faxes.

you are right, but isnt that found only when you are travelling outside of the USA? If I am in USA till i get a gc and then add my wife, how will anyone know if she is out of status ?
As people have said above as soon as you move from H1 to EAD your H1 would be no longer be valid and hence the corresponding H-4 status will no longer be valid and since you cannot file for AOS for your wife now , your wife will be out of status.
This information will come up in future when you apply for I-485 for your wife.It does not matter if your wife is still in the US or not. She will be out of status if you lose your H1 status ( just like anyone who loses his H1 status the dependent also loses his status ).

I think if you can file extension before July 1st( when you are not current) you should be able to get 3 year extension..Experts! correct me if I am wrong!

I am looking for some serious help and advice here , I hate to see any non-immigrant in US in my circumstances .Here some information about it , My company has sponsored my work visa , soon I entered into they customs and Immigration there is some mistake with my paper work , and they charged me and later deported me .In the middle we came to know the company has sponsored some other people B/J visas for their own benefits and officers acted so racially .when i got deported they never issued my passport back , I keep on calling them now , they always say , They can't hear , some times they mention call after 5 mins , 1hr .I am so vexed with all they do , I felt so victim in this . Please advice me can i get my passport back, and my case is in pending appeal , before I got deported

I had checked it with our Attorney and it is fine to work on Volunteer basis. However, there are very few oraganizations which will let you work. Working of the books is illegal...
